The antibacterial and antiviral substance MicroSilver BG™ is a highly porous silver compound (silver powder, with an average particle size of about 7-10 μm) with a spongy outer structure visible under an electron microscope. It has a large, antimicrobially active surface whose effect is useful for cosmetic purposes on skin and mucous membranes.MicroSilver BG™ removes bacteria and viruses present on the skin and mucous membranes that would otherwise easily multiply in skin lesions such as small sores in the oral cavity or skin irritations.
